Oli Cook is such a modest athlete that he didn't want to write anything about himself. Thus I am going to give you a quick but precise wrap up of his visions and himself as an athlete.
Oli is your everyday Triathlete. He started triathlons for the enjoyment and soon found himself smacking away the training. With a very sporty background he found that he couldn't just do Triathlons, he wanted to train properly and go well at them. Oli has been to one World Championships for Triathlon in 2014 and will be making his debut for the Duathlon World Championships in October this year where he is hoping for a positioned finishing place. All though he doesn't like to admit it, he is one of the best ride/runners in age group going around. In the year and a bit that I have been working with him he has demolished his running and now runs in the low-mid 30s for 10km.
All though very dedicated to his training and improvement he is also able to find the time to have a full time job, coach a footy team, help out with a running group, manage a household and most importantly love his girl friend. Oli is a true example of a person who is aiming to go well in Triathlon but maintain a healthy balanced lifestyle. Whilst he decided to be coached by me because he thought it would be helping me out he has found that the structure and guidence has helped him stay injury free and prevent fatigue meaning improved performance.
